‘Katyusha’ to enter household shopping basket

Comedy flick ‘Katyusha’ has scheduled to launch home screen version soon.

The 2017 hilarious comedy directed by Ali Atshani will release home screen adopted version on Monday January 7. It is set to be distributed nationwide by Tasvire Donyaye Honar (TDH) Film Company.

‘Katyusha’ zeros on the generation gap exists between two generations with needs and wants that are worlds apart. In on hand, we see a man who is a true representative of a generation that is all about beliefs and fanaticism.

And in the other hand, we see a young loaded yet corny guy who seeks to have fun in his own way.

The comedy juxtaposes these two to create funny moments when they don’t know how things go on around in the opposite party’s universe.

A tagline for the film reads, “If I want to be successful in my life, I do not have to look at life like you do.”

Hadi Hejazifar, Ahmad Mehranfar, Mitra Hajjar, Linda Kiani, Mehran Rajabi, Khashayar Rad, Bijan Banafshekhah, Arjang Amir-Fazli, Leila Otadi and Qasem Zare are the most notable among the movie actors.

The movie succeeded to gain 4th spot among bestselling films in the box office chart in the first week of screening in Iran.

'Katyusha' had its first international screening at the 2018 Crossover Film Festival in Virginia and succeeded to win an honorable mention at the event.
