'Simulation' enters Iranian home market

‘Simulation’ directed by Abed Abest has entered Iranian home market.

After spending a year on movie screens, Iranian thriller ‘Simulation’ directed by Abed Abest has finally entered the Iranian home market.

The film depicts the story of three bored friends who decide to pay a daring visit to an old man they barely know.

Upon entering his house, the man slowly becomes suspicious to the young men’s intentions and pulls a gun on them, leading to some tragic consequences.

So far, ‘Simulation’ has been screened in various countries around the world, with its first international screening held in Germany’s 67th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).

The film has also appeared in Spain’s Moving Images Festival, China’s Shanghai International Film Festival, Romania’s Transilvania International Film Festival, Poland’s Ars Independent Festival, Georgia’s Tbilisi Film Festival, and film festivals in the US, Canada, and Czech Republic.

Director Abed Abest, Daniyal Khojasteh, Vahid Rad, Shahrzad Seifi, and Majid Yousefi are among the film’s cast.
