12th Iran 100-sec filmfest to host 119 countries

Film makers from 119 countries with a total of 2278 works have requested to participate in the 12th edition of International 100-Second Film Festival in Iran. 

 A number of countries such as India with 363 works, US with 354 works, Turkey with 203 works, Britain with 137 works, France with 124 works, Italy with 120 works, and Spain with 112 works have submitted the most titles.

The main themes of the works submitted to the festival are “morality, children and youth, environment; and social and urban subjects”.

The Jury panel of the festival is now assessing and evaluating the received works. The selected works will participate in different sections of the festival.

The 12th edition of the International 100-Second Film Festivals is supervised by Ali Ghorbani. The festival is held in Tehran from February 27 to March 1, 2019.
