War flick ‘Mahoora’ to enter Iran home market

‘Mahoora’ directed by Hamid Zargarnejad has been set to enter home entertainment market.

The 2017 war drama, which was premiered at the 36th Fajr Film Festival, will release the home screening version on Wednesday February 06.

Tasvire Donyaye Honar film company is in charge of the distribution.

ifilm popular series ‘The Chef’ director’s new film narrates the story of some village residents who observe all their traditions fully.

Amin, portrayed by Saed Soheili, is one of the characters in the story whose coffee cup readings will come true and he loses the love of his life that is a woman named Mahoora.

Now Amin must live with the mania that won’t leave him alone even under the fire of Iraq-Iran war.

‘Mahoora’ features popular Iranian actors such as Maral Farjad, Kamran Tafti, Bahareh Kian-Afshar, Dariush Arjmand, Saeed Aqakhani, Mitra Hajjar, Ali Osivand and Yousef Moradian.
