‘I Love You’ to vie at Lebu Film Festival

‘I Love You’ by Babak Habibifar is eligible to vie at the 19th Lebu International Film Festival in Chile.

The 12-minute short film will vie at the competition section of the event for the best short film award with other titles from Spain, France, Chile, Argentina, Turkey, Czech, Malaysia and Uruguay.

‘I Love You’ is a 12-minute short film about a lonely man who hears strange noises and goes to investigate where they are coming from.

The short film has so far taken part in a number of international film events, including the Skepto Int’l Film Festival 2018 in Italy, 20th Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Japan, Seoul Int’l Extreme-Short Film Festival in South Korea and Festival Internacional De Cortometrajes Radio City 2018 in Spain.

Habibifar is director and writer of short fiction films. His short films have won some 60 awards from international film festivals in different countries.

Lebu is an Oscar qualified film festival set to be held on February 15-21, 2019 in Santiago, Chile.
