Fajr film ‘Qasr-e Shirin’ outs behind the scene

First behind-the-scenes footage for Fajr contender ‘Qasr-e Shirin’ has been unraveled.

The released video mostly feature the star of ifilm Hamed Behdad, who is a popular actor among ifilm viewers as he has been in a number of features and episodic series aired by the channel such as ‘The third Day’ and ‘A Fistful of Eagle Feathers’.  

The film, directed by Reza Mirkarimi, is currently on the screens of the main competition section of the 37th Fajr Film Festival.  

A brief synopsis of ‘Qasr-e Shirin’ reads, “Jalal Moradi, a 42-year-old father of two, kills a family in an accident. In the court of law, the murder is recognized as accidental killing without intent. After getting out of prison, he leaves his wife and kids and moves to another city. Two years later, he must go back to his home town as his wife is brain-dead.”

Masoud Farasati, a highly known film critic, praises the film categorizing it among few films that are not pretentious.
