‘Setayesh 3’ to continue shooting in south

The shooting for ‘Setayesh 3’ series is to go on in the southern city of Bandar Abbas.

The cast and crew of the series directed by Saeed Soltani are to wrap up shooting in Ramsar and head for south of Iran soon.

Reports say that the editing of the series will go on at the same time.

The third sequel for popular Iranian series ‘Setayesh’ is scheduled to broadcast in the next Persian New Year.

Referring to the season 1 of the flick, the plot summary reads, “Taher has just finished two years of military service, defending Iran against Saddam Hussein's war of aggression. His friend, who's deserted the frontline, wants Taher to help smuggle him out of the country.”

Despite his better judgment, and at the insistence of his friend's sister, Setayesh, he agrees. Taher and Setayesh eventually grow fond of each other and make plans to marry. But a tragedy causes a great gap between their families that threaten to keep the two from ever finding happiness together."

Narges Mohammadi stars as the female lead in the original ‘Setayesh' alongside veteran Iranian actor Daryoush Arjmand.

Other names of the cast include Mehdi Solouki, Asadollah Yekta, Sima Tirandaz, Keyhan Maleki, Fariba Naderi and Farhad Jam.
