Iran cinema halls to host ‘Beautiful Jinn’ from Wednesday

Iran-Turkey production ‘Beautiful Jinn’ has been scheduled to hit Iranian silver screens this Wednesday.

A co-production between Iran and Turkey, the flick will be premiered after several changes in the screening program.

Made by Iranian director Bayram Fazli, ‘Beautiful Jinn’ is a social drama with comic traits.

Turkish actress Nurgul Yesilcay plays the role of a character named ‘Delaram’, who has lost her speaking and listening abilities due to some past trauma.

Famed Iranian actor Farhad Aslani costars with the Turkish actress in the flick.

Aslani plays the role of a middle-aged man who has lost his wife. He lives a sad and lonely life until he meets someone new; probably a beautiful jinn.

Produced by Mehrdad Farid, the flick uses less music in the movie and instead makes the drama concentrate on sounds.

Reportedly the film has already gone on public screens in Turkey and the Azerbaijan Republic.
