Popular director of ifilm cop series Mehdi Fakhimzadeh wears police uniform in an interview on his new starrer 'The Misunderstanding'.

The famed helmer of ifilm cop series 'Top Secret' and 'Asleep and Awake' is seated before the camera for an interview on Ahmadreza Motamedi's new offering, dressing in police costume.

The actor/director said of the movie that the flick is "a mystery to unravel which makes the audience curious about the storyline."

Fakhimzadeh added that 'The Misunderstanding' has one of the best scenarios in Iranian cinema which travels between reality and fantasy.

The flick opened in Iranian cinemas a few days back with the main cast includes Fakhimzadeh alongside Akbar Abdi, Merila Zarei, Kambiz Dirbaz, Pejman Jamshidi, and Hanieh Tavassoli.

The film, produced by Jalil Shabani, is a story about a group of film students in pursuit of an acting career who take a wealthy girl hostage to achieve their goal.

Gradually, the filmmaking along with the hostage situation begins to take a twist, making it hard to differentiate between reality and illusion.
