‘Like a Good Kid’ to vie at Indian filmfest

‘Like a Good Kid’ is to screen at the 2019 Piggy Bank Int'l Short Film Festival in India.

‘Like a Good Kid’, a short film by Arian Vazirdaftari, has been selected to screen at the 2019 Piggy Bank International Short Film Festival in India.

The 20-minute short will be in contention with 193 other films that have been picked by the festival. The competing works are from various countries from around the world including, Germany, France, Australia, Cuba and the United States.

‘Like a Good Kid’ is about Sarah, a 22-year-old babysitter. Sara looks after Matin, a five-year-old.

Once, when she is doing her routine job, Matin tells Sarah a story which triggers her into planning to steal from the house. Get to see the trailer for the flick here.

The film has so far attended several prestigious festivals including the Cinefondation section of the 71st Cannes Film Festival.

Piggy Bank International Short Film Festival promotes both amateur and professional, independent films.

The year edition of the event which is slated for March 2-3, 2019 in the city of Jaipur will host 14 other works from Iran including ‘Balance’ by Barzan Rostami and Omid Shams’s ‘Birthday Night’.
