Tehran Animation Fest to kick off

The 11th edition of Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF) is to kick off on March 3, 2019.

A total of 85 countries are to participate at the festival.

Held by the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children & Young Adults, many award-winning animations will participate at the event.

The Tehran Animation Festival is a competitive event which takes place biennially. The main goal is to promote animation and broaden cultural interchange.

TIAF is not specified just for children and young adults, but any kind of artistic animated films, including those for children, young adults and adults section, can be sent to the festival.

The 11th Tehran International Animation Festival will run until March 7, 2019.
