The 12th edition of the International 100 Second Film Festival in Iran has announced winners.
Here is the winner list for various categories of the event’s National Section.
In the Documentary Category of National Section, Mehdi Mahan for ‘Batak’, Mohammad Hassani for ‘I Think of All my Freedom Here’, Mohammad-Reza Dehestani for ‘Seraj’ and Jaber Badyad for ‘Mando’ have been the recipient of the awards.
‘Feather’ codirected by Hadi Amiri and Raha Faraji and ‘This was not my Dream’ by Maryam Hashemnejad and Varya Nikmanesh have won the Animation Category awards.
The Technical Achievement prize went to Ahmad Goudarzi for filming ‘Factory’.
The winners of the Fiction Category are Mohammad-Reza Sa’adati for his ‘Diaper’, Abolfazl Bakhtiyar for ‘Legal’ and Abouzar Heidari for ‘Haven’.
The Jury Award was given to ‘Stop’ directed by Pegah Ansari.
‘Diaper’ directed by Mohammad-Reza Sa’adati also grabbed the Audience Award.
And finally, ‘…Went’ by Samaneh Fazlollah Asadi took home the Best Film Award of the festival.
According a media report, the films that were in competition in the last two editions of the International 100 Second Film Festival are certified to apply for the Fajr International Film Festival.
The closing ceremony for the latest edition of the film event was held on March 01, 2019.
