Iran-Azerbaijan joint cinematic project ‘The Castle of Love’ has premiered in Baku.
The red carpet ceremony and film premiere were held at Azerbaijan capital city of Baku. A number of Iranian officials accompanied the cast and crew members of the flick at the opening night of the film.
During the ceremony, Ilham Qasimov, the director of the flick, expressed hopes that this joint project will be the beginning for many more to come.
According to a media report, ‘The Castle of Love’ or ‘High Voltage’ is set to screen in some other Azerbaijani cities, including Ganja and Lankaran.
The film depicts an epic romantic story that like most fairytales involves a young princess with lots of suitors. Among the suitors of this story, there is an Azerbaijani prince who does everything in his power to win her heart, which is already is in love with an Iranian eligible bachelor.
Iranian award-winning star, Reza Naji and some Azerbaijani actors such as Elm al-Din Jafarov, Chenareh Malekzadeh, Zia Aqa and Kamala Piriyeva are among the cast members of the film.
