Shahab Hosseini narrates animation; look for yourself

Online footage shows internationally acclaimed Iranian actor Shahab Hosseini narrating 'Shekarestan' animation series.

The project is in development with Hosseini doing the narration for the 15-eposide animated piece.

The actor will surely shock fans just before the Persian New Year narrating the animation produced by Masoud Safavi.

Hosseini has appeared in many ifilm series and movies such as 'Dream Interpretation' and 'My Brother Khosrow'.

Shahab Hosseini has won the best actor award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival for his role in Asghar Farhadi’s ‘The Salesman’ (2016). 

Hosseini has appeared in movies such as Eternal Kids (2006), 'Mahya' (2007), 'Heartbroken' (2007), 'Loneliness' (2007), 'Anahita' (2009), 'The Final Whistle' (2012), 'The Five-Star' (2013), 'The Resident of the Middle Floor' (2013), 'Time to Love' (2014), 'Parallel Shadows' (2014), 'Come with Me' (2015), and 'The Salesman' (2016).

‘Shekarestan’ is an Iranian animation presenting Persian proverbs and folk tales in a modern view. Each episode of the animation features a separate story.
