A brand new scene from the Iranian movie ‘Pig Gene’ directed by Saeed Soheili has been released which deals with the mystery of the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
According to the latest polls on Iranian cinema sales, the audience for Soheili’s latest production which premiered yesterday in the presence of the cast and crew is on the rise.
The recent spike in ticket sales prompted the film’s producers to release a scene related to one of the most discussed events of the last few months.
The social comedy narrates the story of two inmates, ‘Reza Raisins’ (Hadi Hejazifar) and ‘Emad the Cat’ (Sina Mehrad), who break out of prison to fulfill a plan they had already devised.
Award-winning actor Hadi Hejazifar is a familiar face to ifilm fans for his performances in ‘Midday Adventures’, ‘Breath’ and ‘Standing in the Dust’.
Other cast members of the flick include Nazanin Bayati, Behrang Alavi, Qorban Najafi, Alireza Mehran, and Jamshid Hashempour.
