Iranian comedy ‘Prisoners’ publishes first trailer

New Iranian comedy ‘Prisoners’ has revealed first trailer after going on domestic silver screens.

Directed by Masoud Dehnamaki, the movie tells the story of a young student who is examining a number of prisoners to use the results in her thesis.

The prisoners take some days off to search some rural areas for an old treasure. While searching in cold snowy mountains, an avalanche stops them and they need something like a miracle to find a way back prison!

The film is centered on everyday life and highlights the social issues that the current generation is facing.

Hedayat Hashemi, Borzou Arjmand, Behnam Tashakkor, Houman Barqnavard, Bahareh Afshari, Behnoush Bakhtiyari, Asghar Naqizadeh, and Amir Nouri are among the cast of the film.

Tashakkor and Barqnavard, who have formed one of the best acting duos and are among Dehnamaki’s cast, have appeared in many ifilm features including ‘Cops and Robbers’, ‘The Doormat’, and ‘Chimney’.
