ifilm’s new feature film ‘Cyanide’ has been scheduled to go on air on March 30, 2019.
The movie, produced by Seyyed-Mahmoud Razavi and directed by Behrouz Shoeibi, reviews a political story.
Being a historical picture, ‘Cyanide’ underlines the choice between life and death, heroic living or graceful dying.
This is the story of the assassinations of government officials by a guerrilla organization in pre-revolutionary Iran and the investigations by the Shah's dreaded secret police, which unveils the internal feud and ideological differences among the members of the organization.
The movie cast list includes Hanieh Tavassoli, Atila Pesyani, Behnoush Tabatabaee, Babak Hamidiyan, Hamed Komeili, Mehdi Hashemi, and the director Shoeibi.
‘Cyanide’ was first screened during the Film Market at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival in France.
It has also gone on screen at some global events, including the 2017 International Historical and Military Film Festival in Poland.
‘Cyanide’, made in 2015, is scheduled to go on ifilm English at 22:00 GMT.
The channel will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
