Sahar Dolatshahi goes on second poster for ‘Reza’

Iranian actress Sahar Dolatshahi goes on the 2nd poster for the new movie ‘Reza’.

Iranian actress Sahar Dolatshahi has gone on the second poster for the new movie ‘Reza’.

Directed by Alireza Motamedi, ‘Reza’ revealed its first poster while getting ready to go on screen. The new poster is designed by Hamid-Reza Beidaqi.

‘Reza’, a romantic comedy, revolves around the life of an author named Reza who begins to write a story about his ancestor's immigration to the historic city of Isfahan.

Meanwhile, Reza and his wife separate from each other through divorce after nine years of marriage, but he finds it difficult to start a new life without his ex whom he still loves.

Reza must delve into all aspects of his personality to find out why his better half and the woman he loves cannot tolerate living with him and wants a divorce.

In addition to Dolatshahi, the director Motamedi, Setareh Pesyani, Reza Davoudnejad, Afsar Asadi, Pantea Marzbanian, Nasim Mirzadeh, Marjan Moshtaqian, and Solmaz Ghani are among the cast of 94-minute flick.

The film premiered at the 36th Fajr International Film Festival and was well-received by the film critics.

Since then, it has attended a number of global events, including the 2018 Mumbai Film Festival in India. The jury members of the Indian film event praised the film for being poetic and having a critical outlook.

Born in 1979, Dolatshahi earned two university degrees, one in dramatic literature and another in French language.

She made her acting debut in 2001, going on to appear on the silver screen in ‘Morning’s Child’ in 2004. In 2006, she experienced acting on the small screen in ‘Hodhod Bookstore’.

Some of the series she has appeared in are ‘The Passengers’, ‘No Pain, No Gain’, ‘Family Conspiracy’, ‘Heart of Ice’ and ‘Red Cap’.

Dolatshahi has also appeared in other films, including ‘Fireworks Wednesday’, ‘While We Sleep’, ‘Inversion’, ‘Gold and Copper’, and ‘Metropol’.

Her appearance in 'Ice Age' in 2014 was praised at the Fajr Film Festival, winning Crystal Simorgh award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
