‘Prisoners’ releases brand new teaser

In its second week of screening, Iranian comedy ‘Prisoners’ directed by Masoud Dehnamaki has released a brand new teaser.

In a recent review, Dehnamaki’s latest film was hailed as “charming, accompanied by clean humor, without sacrificing the tenets in order to be appealing.”

The reviewer added “’Prisoners’ does a great job of utilizing comedy in order to link the audience with humanitarian and spiritual matters, ” concluding, “Dehnamaki proved that there is no need to cross the red lines in order to make people laugh.”

‘Prisoners’ is a story about a young student conducting an experiment on a number of prisoners for her thesis project.

The prisoners are given some days off to search some rural areas for an old treasure. While searching in cold snow-covered mountains, an avalanche gets in their way leaving them in hopes of a miracle to find their way back to prison!

The film is centered on everyday life and highlights the social issues that the current generation is facing.

Hedayat Hashemi, Borzou Arjmand, Behnam Tashakkor, Houman Barqnavard, Bahareh Afshari, Behnoush Bakhtiyari, Asghar Naqizadeh, and Amir Nouri are among the cast of the film.

Tashakkor and Barqnavard, who have formed one of the best acting duos and are among Dehnamaki’s cast, have appeared in many ifilm features including ‘Cops and Robbers’, ‘The Doormat’, and ‘Chimney’.
