ifilm to start airing ‘The Gradual Death of a Dream’

ifilm new series ‘The Gradual Death of a Dream’ has been scheduled to go on air from April 16, 2019.

The series produced by Arman Zarrinkoob and directed by Fereydoun Jeyrani is a social drama with the theme of fame and the problems that it brings about.

“Maral is a young aspiring author and Hamed is a publisher and university professor. They fell in love and got married, but there is a large gap between them," according to ifilm website, "Maral’s sister, Sanaz who is a divorcee alcoholic, takes advantage of her sister’s talent and the rocky relationship to leave Iran. But will the dream of greener grass in new pastures, survive the journey?”. 

The series cast list includes Setareh Eskandari, Danial Hakimi, Shiva Khonyagar, Poulad Kimiaee, Pourandokht Mohaymen, Farideh Sepah-Mansour, Kianoush Gerami, Asha Mehrabi, Mahsa Keramati, Samiyeh Lak.

‘The Gradual Death of a Dream’ made in 2006, is scheduled to be a replacement for the series ‘I’m a Tenant’. It will be aired at 22:00 GMT (01:30 Tehran time).

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the drama the next day at 04:00, 10:00, 16:00 (all GMT times). The series comprises 19 episodes.
