‘No Fly Zone’ premieres at Fajr International Film Festival.

Iranian feature ‘No Fly Zone’ written and directed by Amir Dasargar premieres at the 37th annual Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.

With its initial screening held on Thursday at the Farabi Cinema Foundation Hall in Iranian capital city of Tehran, the flick had its second screening Friday at the Charsou Cinema Complex-- which is another host of the fest in the capital.

‘No Fly Zone’ narrates the story of three Iranian teenagers who are busy working on a project in a corner in Iran.

In the process, they face various obstacles resulting in a conflict with certain people, as certain realities eventually begin to come to light.

Established in 1982, the FIFF is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed filmmakers, and pays tribute to local and international films.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 37th edition of the Iranian film event will screen films in nine categories including the International Competition, Eastern Vista, Festival of Festivals, Popular Genre Films and Burn Olives which is a window to the changes in the world of Islam today. The festival is currently underway in Tehran, Iran until April 26, 2019.
