Iran short ‘SineCide’ to vie at US festival

Iran short ‘SineCide’ is to compete at the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in the US.

Iranian short ‘SineCide or No One Believes Me But The Police Are Chasing A Wrong Man’ has been set to go on th esilver screen at the The 45th edition of the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in the US.

Directed by Ata Mojabi, the short is an experimental journey to Psycho (1960) which is an American psychological horror film directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock and written by Joseph Stefano.

Mojabi cooperated in several feature films as a scriptwriter and assistant director. He also directed and produced nine short films. He has been a member of Khaneh Cinema since 2012.

SIFF is an annual event which has been held in the US city of Seattle, Washington since 1976.

Each year, the 25-day festival hosts around 140,000 people, presenting more than 400 features, short films, and documentaries from over 85 countries around the world.

The 2019 edition of the festival is slated for May 17-June 10, 2019.
