‘Sweet Agony II’ to screen in cinemas

‘Sweet Agony II’ is scheduled to be screened in Iran domestic cinemas in October.

Alireza Davoudnejad’s latest directing experience will appear on the silver screen in October.

‘Sweet Agony II’ narrates the story of a girl who invites her parents to her 18th birthday party which is held in a place unknown to her parents.

They have to travel from Manchester to London to get to the party. During the trip, the couple reviews their memories to find out what is the reason that distances them from their daughter.

Tarlan Parvaneh, Mona Davoudnejad, Zahra Davoudnejad, Homayoun Kazemi, and Mohammad-Reza Davoudnejad are among the actors of the movie.

Alireza Davoudnejad directed the movie ‘Sweet Agony’ in 1999. In an interview, the director said the movie ‘Sweet Agony II’ is somehow related to the old one, but the story takes place in a different time and location.
