Iranian animation ‘Sink’ to vie at Croatia Fest

Directed by Mahboubeh Kalaei, the animation ‘Sink’ has been selected to compete at International Children and Youth Animation Film Festival (Vafi& Rafi) in Croatia.

The animation revolves around a man and a woman who appear from 2 cups of coffee which are left in a sink.

VAFI & RAFI is a festival of animated movies devoted to children and youth. The Festival has two sections – VAFI section in Varaždin (animated movies made by children and youth) and RAFI section in Rijeka (animated movies for children and youth).

At the tenth edition of the festival, 76 animations from 30 countries will compete in 5 sections.

The animation is to compete at the 10th edition of the Vafi& Rafi which is slated for May 27-June 2, 2019.
