In an exclusive ifilm report, ‘The Colonel's Garden’ actress Sahar Valadbeigi has talked about her experience in the series playing her husband’s sister.
Speaking in ifilm show behind-the-scenes about ‘The Colonel's Garden’, one of the series’ main actress Valadbeigi said, “I play the role of Hoda in ‘The Colonel's Garden’ who has not been able to pass the Iranian University Entrance Exam over the last ten years."
“She insists on getting admitted to university, though,” the actress further said about the character, noting, “If she even wants to snap out of this idea, her mom won’t let her.”
The actress’ husband plays the role of her brother in the series while she likes the interaction between the two siblings.
“My husband in real life, Nima Fallah, plays the role of my brother in this series," Valadbeigi said, adding, “What I really like about my role is that Hoda and her brother have funny sibling rivalry.”
The actress has also appeared in 'The Entrance Exam' (2002), 'Tiptoe' (2002), 'Dotted Line' (2003-2004), 'Checkered' (2007), 'Honeymoon' (2009), 'Story of Auntie Beetle' (2009), 'The Rich and the Poor' (2010), 'Detour ' (2011), 'City of Mice' (2011), 'The Colonel's Garden' (2013) and ''In Hashieh' (2014-2015).
Valadbeigi’s husband plays the role of a youngster who just got married without his parents knowing. His wife Samira wants him to get the courage to tell his parents about the marriage.
Amid all this, Hadi decides to move to the Colonel’s Garden where he bumps into a man who died many years back, asking him to do a favor and find the man’s long lost love.
