The soundtrack for Iranian box office hit ‘6.5 per Meter’ has been published.
The music piece for the film that is considered to be the best selling social movie title of Iranian cinema history has been composed by Peyman Yazdanian.
Born in 1968, Yazdanian is an Iranian musician and pianist. He has been a prolific composer and has worked with several big names in filmmaking industry such as late Abbas Kiarostami and Kamal Tabrizi.
He has made music pieces for some award-winning movies, including Mani Haghighi’s ‘Pig’ and ‘No Date, No Signature’ by Vahid Jalilvand.
‘6.5 per Meter’ is a social drama pinpointing the issue of drug abuse and its aftermath.
The film is about a police officer portrayed by Peyman Maadi who is after a huge drug cartel lord played by Navid Mohammadzadeh.
Parinaz Izadyar and Farhad Aslani are also among the cast members of the flick.
