Iran’s film ‘The Veiled Persona’ heads to Italy

Iran’s short ‘The Veiled Persona’ has made it to the 2019 edition of the CEFALU Film Festival in Italy.

Directed by Elham Atyabi, ‘The Veiled Persona’ will participate at the 4th edition of the CEFALU, the Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported.

The participation marks the film’s seventh international appearance.

“When you are in love with your wife and find that a stranger frequent your home, you will find yourself in a place where you either kill yourself or …,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The 15-minute film has brought Atyabi the Best Director award at the Yalla International Independent Film Festival in Nepal.

The CEFALU Film Festival will reportedly kick off in the Italian city of Palermo on June 1, 2019.
