Bollywood well-liked star Esha Gupta is to visit Iran to attend the public screening of her latest cooperation with Iran cinema.
The Indian star will come to Iran to attend the screening of Iran-India film ‘The Devil’s Daughter’ by Qorban Mohammadpour where she appeared as the devil’s daughter.
Gupta has expressed excitement for visiting Iran and the Iranians in a video message posted in her social media page.
The film premiere kicked off in Iranian cinema halls beginning from Eid al-Fitr that marked the end of the holy month of Ramadan; and since then it has been warmly welcomed by audiences.
‘The Devil’s Daughter’ is the second collaboration of the director with Indian cinema after ‘Salaam Mumbai’.
‘The Devil’s Daughter’ narrates the story of the devil’s daughter that seeking for God’s forgiveness comes to earth to find a way to make up for what her father has done.
Trying to find a medium to compensate for her dad’s wrongdoings, she finds a man who must help her.
ifilm popular face Hamid Farrokh-Nejad has played opposite Esha Gupta in the comedy along with Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia who has played the role of an ISIS member in ‘The Devil's Daughter’.
There are some more Indian stars in the movie, including Dalip Tahil, Simran Mishrikoti and Shaili Mahmoudi.
The music for the flick is composed by great Indian musician Dilshaad Shaikh. Sonu Nigam; and Arijit Singh have also collaborated with the project as vocalists for the film’s theme song.
