Veteran actor talks on Parviz Parastouee: ifilm exclusive

In an exclusive interview, ‘Stairway to Heaven’ star Mir-Hossein Maloumi spoke to ifilm about his film ‘Leyli is With Me’ and his costar Parviz Parastouee.

Maloumi is a veteran actor in Iranian cinema, television, and theater.

He is also a renowned director and acting instructor.

Born in 1946, he began his career in cinema in the 1975 movie ‘Hyperactive Man’, directed by Sirous Qahremani.

Maloumi has appeared in numerous television series including ‘Stairway to Heaven’, ‘The Last Warning’, ‘Divorce in Overtime’, ‘The Convicts’, ‘Grandma’s Thieves’, ‘Forgotten House’, and ‘Mirror of Wisdom’.

His cinematic career includes roles in ‘Thesis’, ‘Meeting Promise’, ‘Goodnight Stranger’, ‘Claw in the Dust’, ‘Bat’, ‘Higher than Danger’, and ‘Leyli is With Me’.
