‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’ star Siamak Ansari talks with ifilm camera about the art of improvisation.
In a hearty talk, the Iranian comedian highlights the fact that for an actor to be able to adlib some dialogues that do not already exist in the screenplay, he/she must have a costar who understands the context as well.
Ansari also suggest the idea that improvisation is a creative process taken place in a set of fixed frameworks and according to some preplanned formulas. These formulas are like rules of knowing the context, the ambiance of the work and knowing how funny a sentence is in a comedic situation.
The artist takes his talent of thinking on his feet in real life as well no matter what the cost.
