Iranian movie ‘Suppression’ has been set to screen this summer.
Directed by Reza Gouran, the screening contract for the film has been sealed to premiere in Iranian cinemas this summer and after Nima Javidi’s ‘The Warden’ is off the screens.
A brief synopsis of the flick reads, “He did something that made loyalty to become our day and night habit. Now, we are all faithful but the one we are true to has been dead for a long time now.”
Baran Kosari, Sara Bahrami, Pardis Ahmadieh, Artin Golchin, Asal Gharaei and Jamshid Hashempour are among the cast members of the film.
This is the first feature film that Reza Gouran has directed. He has so far directed some award-winning plays such as ‘Yerma’ which won him the Best Director award at the International Fajr Theater Festival.
