Reza Kianian comments on Roya Nonahali: ifilm exclusive

Veteran actor Reza Kianian has commented on his costar Roya Nonahali in ‘The Smell of Rain’ during an ifilm exclusive report.

‘The Smell of Rain’ enjoys some first-time actors alongside well-known professionals in the field but as Kianina points out, “I mostly costar with Ms. Nonahali. I’ve been working with her for many years. I think she is one of our great actresses.”  

“I’m glad that I’m working with her and also with the rest of the cast,” Kianian continued.

‘The Smell of Rain’, formerly known as ‘The Bride of Darkness’, is a social drama about a girl named Fereshteh who is murdered at her wedding night. Fereshteh’s ex-fiancé is accused of murder based upon the evidence found on the scene. After the funeral ceremony was held, a young girl named Taraneh shows up who changes the story.  

The narrative has a tagline that reads, “Happiness doesn’t come by accident. It is meant to be made.”   

Big names appeared in the series besides Reza Kianian and Roya Nonahali including, Narges Mohammadi, Sepideh Khodaverdi and Homeyra Riyazi.

The list goes on with Mehrdad Ziaei, Shahrzad Kamalzadeh, Mahvash Sabrkon, Maryam Kaviani and Mahsa Hashemi.
