I regret not acting for Salahshour

Iranian actor regrets not accepting Salahshour’s acting offer.

In an exclusive interview with ifilm, Iranian actor Mokhtar Saeqi expressed his regret on not accepting the late filmmaker Farajollah Salahshour’s offer to act in his films.

The ‘Setayesh’ actor spoke to ifilm about his early days as a stage actor before entering the world of cinema and the moment he was approached by the late ‘Prophet Joseph’ director Farajollah Salahshour who was recruiting for a feature film.

Mokhtar Saeqi began his professional acting career in director Sirous Alvand’s 1982 film ‘Rooted in Blood’.

In addition to acting, Saeqi had also worked as assistant director, costume and stage designer, and production consultant in various films.

The veteran actor has appeared in numerous movies and series to include ‘The Times’, ‘Setayesh’, ‘The Pahlavi Hat’, ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’, ‘The Fifth Sun’, ‘Stairway to Heaven’, ‘3X4’, and ‘Sweet and Sour’.
