Jajil Farjad tells ifilm in an exclusive report how he gets his mother’s blessings to become an actor.

The passion for acting sprouted in ‘The Cherry Garden’ star since early ages; bet as he comes from a religious family, he did not have his mother’s blessings to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.

He, however, does not put aside his wishes and enters university to study acting. While still a student, the Islamic revolution happens in Iran and his mother allows having a small screen TV at home for the purpose of seeing Imam Khomeini (RA).

Farjad, then, takes on a role in a play that can bring him close to getting his mother’s satisfaction about what he does. The play that has revolutionary themes and is fed by the events of the day in Iran gives him the chance to experience acting along with Majid Majidi.

Upon attending the theater hall and seeing the play, his mother gives him blessings to continue what he really wanted to do.
