‘Barani’ to be screened on ifilm

ifilm English TV has set to screen ‘Barani’ movie on Saturday night July 20.

Directed by Abolhassan Davoudi, the social flick will hit the screen at 22:00 GMT. It is also scheduled to repeat the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 all GMT times.

‘Barani’ narrates the story of doctor Barani, who has dedicated his professional career to finding a cure for cancer. But in the process, he has made a wreck of his life. He has to deal with a wife who feels she does not know him; children who think their father does not understand them, and rivals in the medical profession who are out to destroy him.

Suddenly a woman from his past appears in his life again and it sets off a chain of events that may lead Barani to find the miraculous cure; on the other side it may cause him to lose his family.

The main cast members of the film are Roya Teymourian, Shabnam Farshadjou, Faramarz Qaribian, Keihan Maleki, Mahtab Keramati and Mohsen Qazi-Moradi.
