Iranian female actor Hanieh Tavassoli is the star of two ifilm hit series, 'The Forbidden Fruit' and 'Shams-ol-Emareh', with the latter still on the channel's screen.
The actress, born 1979 in Iranian city of Hamadan is a playwriting graduate from Azad University in Tehran.
She has four siblings with her father being a high-ranking army personnel and her mother a homemaker.
When she was a teenager, the actress started performing on the theater stage. During a theater fest, she was selected by a professional director to act as the lead of a theater presentation named 'Father'.
'Stranger' series served as her introduction to the small screen in 2000 and her first feature she appeared in was 'The Last Supper' made in the following year.
Her starring role in 'Vafa' series made the actress a household name among TV viewers.
In 'The Forbidden Fruit', she played a leading role opposite veteran Iranian actor Ali Nasiriyan. ifilmers may well remember the actress in impressive roles she depicted in current ifilm series 'Shams-ol-Emareh' as well as movies 'Cyanide' and 'The Corridor'.
