Sareh Bayat joins ‘Spider’

Popular Iranian actress Sareh Bayat has joined new movie project ‘Spider’.

The movie directed by Ebrahim Irajzad will enjoy the renowned actress before the camera as the leading actress.

‘Spider’ narrates the story of a serial killer known as ‘spider killer’.

Before Bayat, Mohsen Tanabandeh joined the movie to appear as the main character, the spider killer.

Born in 1979, Bayat was chosen for a role in the series ‘A Bunch of Eagle Feathers’ (2005). She later made her film debut in ‘Satan’s Follower’.

She has starred in many films including ‘Lamp 100’ (2013), ‘The Resident of the Middle Floor’ (2013), ‘Nahid’ (2014), ‘Muhammad: The Messenger of God’ (2013) and ‘The Lady’ (2015).

Bayat has also appeared in series ‘A Bunch of Eagle Feathers’ (2005), ‘The Innocent Ones’ (2008) and ‘The Ruin’ (2014).

She shared the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival's Silver Bear for Best Actress with Leila Hatami and Sarina Farhadi for ‘A Separation’ (2011).

Bayat was nominated for the Best actress in a Leading Role award for her appearance in ‘We Don’t Get Used To’ (2015) at the 34th edition of Fajr Film Festival.
