Veteran actor Daryoush Asadzadeh has expressed his love to people of his country in an ifilm exclusive interview while calling himself the history of Iran.
Over his long and distinguished career, Daryoush Asadzadeh has played remarkable roles – and in the process shown that he is no less remarkable himself.
In person, he displays a ready smile and light-hearted manner. He also prides himself on being old as history saying, “I am the history. I am the centuries-old history of my country.”
"There are so many untold things, so many stories, and so many words," Asadzadeh observes. "I really love to be able to talk to people of my country to share my experiences with both people and the actors.”
Adds the 95-year-old actor: "People are very much interested to know about celebrities’ life. And we really like you people, just as you like us. We are there for people. If people do not watch us, there is no ‘we’. There are the people who give rise to us.”
The cinema, television and stage actor is currently following acute hospital care due to serious health condition.
