Iranian ‘Native’ to attend Vintage film festival

The Vintage International Film Festival in India has set to screen Iranian short documentary ‘Native’.

Written and directed by Kioumars Sarshar, the film will attend the 2nd edition of the Indian gala.

‘Native’ is a 15-minute documentary about an old rural man whose children have migrated to the city to work.

The man is working in a salt mine near his village where he faces difficulty in extracting salt and selling it.

The 2019 edition of the Vintage International Film Festival will take place in the city of Kolhapur on August 17-18.
