Iranian short to vie at UK film festival

Directed by Vahid Alvandi, the short ‘Cover’ has been selected to compete at the third edition of Bolton Film Festival in the UK.

The short’s synopsis reads “The corpse of Ahmad, a basic worker, comes back to life. But, this time he does not want to lead the life he was living before.”

The cast includes Yousef Yazdani, Hadi Eftekharzadeh, Hamed Nasaj-Bokharaee, and Babak Rezapour.

Bolton fest aims to screen innovative and groundbreaking short films from independent filmmakers.

Participating at the festival, the emerging filmmakers have the chance to showcase their works and meet their audiences.

The third edition of the fest is slated for October 1-3, 2019.
