Teaser for Fajr Fest best title features behind-the-scenes

Teaser featuring behind-the-scenes for Fajr fest best film ‘Midday Event’ has been released.

The teaser release comes as the much-awaited Iranian movie by Director Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian is set to open in Iranian movie theaters on March 15.

‘The Midday Event’, a political drama that features the terrorist atrocity of the Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization in Iran.

“Being stranded and puzzled in volatile Tehran neighborhoods, in the winding streets, alleyways and inside homes; is there an end in sight to such hunt?” the film’s synopsis read.

The movie swept several awards at the 35th edition of Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

The movie features Mehrdad Seddiqian, Ahmad Mehranfar, Hadi Hejazifar, Mehdi Zaminpardaz, Mahya Dehqani, Linda Kiani, Hossein Mehri, and Javad Ezzati.

Mahdavian’s previous movie ‘Standing in the Mist’ received a Crystal Simorgh for Best Film from the 34th edition of the Fajr Film Festival in 2016.
