I love this ‘Mokhtarnameh’ sequence so much: Nasrin Moghanloo to ifilm

Iran actress Nasrin Moghanloo says to ifilm that she loves a departing scene in ‘Mokhtarnameh’ series.

Iranian actress Nasrin Moghanloo says in an exclusive interview with ifilm she tremendously loves a scene the actress departs the lead character, ‘Mokhtar’, in ‘Mokhtarnameh’ series.

“That was the first day of shooting the series, Me and Mr. Arabnia, he said in the sequence ‘Are you leaving me just for the sake of leaving, you fair-weather friend!’ and she started to cry while I liked that sequence a lot,” the actress told ifilm about her popular scene in 'Mokhtarnameh'.

The female actor who starred in the religious biopic ‘Mokhar’ also said that she liked the same sequence from the series in which Mokhtar tells her, “What would happen to the covenant we made with one another? We were not supposed to leave each other without burial sheets.”

“Get out of my way… I am escaping from the battlefield that Mokhtar organized for me. Am I doing wrong? … I curse your ill-fated fortune, woman. I curse your bad luck,” Moghanloo said her lines in the sequence.

Fariborz Arabnia was featured as Mokhtar in the series ‘Mokhtarnameh’

The epic directed by Davood Mirbagheri chronicles some of the events after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS).
