European cinemas to host Iran's ‘The Agitation’

Iran’s feature ‘The Agitation’ is to be screened at some cinemas across Europe.

Iran’s feature film ‘The Agitation’ has been set to be screened at selected movie theaters across Europe.

Fereydoun Jeyrani’s film will receive screenings in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the UK.

Describing the movie, Jeyrani said “‘The Agitation’ is not realistic and social. It is a movie about love and crime…"

The film is starring Bahram Radan, Mehran Ahmadi, Nazanin Solhjou, and Mahnaz Afshar, among others.

The director and the cast of the movie will reportedly attend some screenings which are slated to kick off next month.

‘The Agitation’ went on screen at the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran and was received well by the audiences and critics.

Iranian cinema buffs in Germany can watch the film at movie theaters in the cities of Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.

The Swedish cities of Stockholm and Gothenburg, Norway’s Oslo, as well as Vienna, the capital of Austria, are among the cities that will screen the movie.

The cities also include Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, and London in the UK.
