Finland awards ‘Oasis of Now’

Finland has awarded Iran-Finland co-production ‘Oasis of Now’.

The best project award of the Finnish Film Affair went to the movie directed by Hamy Ramezan.

Popular Iranian superstar Shahab Hosseini is to be the lead actor of ‘Oasis of Now’.

The movie which is to be produced soon, narrates the story a family seeking asylum in Finland, and Shahab Hosseini leads the cast, according to media.

More than 400 industry professionals (buyers, sellers, programmers and producers) attended the 8th edition of the popular Finnish Film Affair (Sept 17-19) held during the Helsinki International Film Festival, the media wrote.
