Azar Faramarzi’s films to head to Brazil

Two of Azar Faramarzi’s short titles have been set to compete at the 2019 edition of the Alter do Chão Film Festival in Brazil.

‘Loneliness’ and ‘Unknown’, written and directed by Faramarzi, will be screened at the festival which is set to open on October 21, the Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported.

Faramarzi is an Iranian actress, filmmaker and a member of Iranian Youth Cinema Society. She studied directing and acting in India. She has also appeared in her film ‘Unknown’.

Faramarzi also served on jury at several film festivals such as the 2016 Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh.

Her films have attended several international events, including the 2017 LA shorts Awards and the 16th Third Eye Asian Film Festival in India.

The 2019 Alter do Chão Film Festival will take place on October 21-27.
