Iranian actor plays the role of Osama bin Laden

Screenwriter and actor Amir Mehdi Jule has been chosen to play the role of notorious Osama bin Laden in the Iranian comedy ‘Meeting the Wizard’.

The movie, produced by Hamid Etebarian and directed by Hamid Bahramian, started filming and Jule appeared before the camera.

The film is Hamid Bahramian’s first cinematic project. The screenplay is written by Jule.

Film’s synopsis reads: “Colonel, do a favor and arrest me; I promise I’ll return the favor”.

Osama bin Laden was the founder of the terror organization al-Qaeda. He is known widely as the mastermind of the September 11 attacks against the United States.

Jule has appeared in ifilm’s movie ‘The Good, the Bad, the Corny’.
