Trailer for ‘Benjamin’ unveiled ahead of public screening

The official trailer for Iranian animated film ‘Benjamin’ has been released on the occasion of the International Children's Day.

Directed by Mohsen Enayati, the animation will be screened in Iranian movie theaters starting November 6, 2019.

"Benjamin’s clumsy yet sweet friend, Asher, screws up, prompting the capture of Benjamin’s mother by the king’s soldiers. Benjamin decides to embark on a hazardous journey to save his mother. This marks the beginning of Asher and Benjamin’s adventures,” reads a synopsis for the film.   

Produced by Mostafa Hassanabadi, ‘Benjamin’ was well received by children and families during its screening at the 32nd edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth (IFFCY) in Iran.

It also managed to garner the Best Animated award at the event which was held last August in Isfahan.
