São Paulo International Film Festival in Brazil is to host Iranian movie ‘As I lay Dying’.
Directed by Mostafa Sayyari, the film will be screened at the International Perspective section of the 43rd edition of the event.
The film is the director's first feature-length production with a cast team made of Nader Fallah, Elham Korda, Majid Aqakarimi, Vahid Rad, and Mohammad Rabbani.
The 73-minute feature film had its international premiere at the 75th Venice Film Festival in Italy.
‘As I lay Dying’ is a free adaptation of the classic William Faulkner novel of the same name.
The São Paulo International Film Festival, which is internationally known as Mostra, is an annual film event held in the city of São Paulo, Brazil.
The 43rd edition of the event kicked off on October 17 and it is slated to wrap up on October 30, 2019.
