Iranian short film ‘Retouch’ has been scheduled to attend the International Strasburg Film Festival in the US.
Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, the acclaimed short will be screening at the second edition of the American film event.
‘Retouch’, which has attended over 70 film festivals around the world and has won multiple awards, narrates the story of a young woman and mother of one who leaves her husband to die after he has an accident at home.
Mohammad-Hossein Ziksari, Hana Fouladi-Fard, Azadeh Abadpour, Siamak Farsi, Negin Ahmadi and Shirin Harati are the cast members of the flick.
According to the event website, the Strasburg Film Festival is a 3-day program showcasing the best of films from all over the world.
The festival looks for to find some works of art of variety of themes and topics that may not be found at commercialized theatres yet are magnificent artistic creations.
The latest edition of the festival is slated for November 15-17, 2019.
