Ahmad Kavari to make ‘Evin’

Ahmad Kavari is slated to direct new project ‘Evin’.

Produced by Arash Sajjadi Hosseini, the movie has recently received the production permit.

The pre-production stage of the film has been started a few months ago.

‘Evin’ narrates the stories of the 1960s, a few years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

The main events of the social drama revolve around the political prison of Evin.

Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian’s ‘Midday Event’ had also exhibited the same events during the same years.

The crew tries to make ‘Evin’ ready for the 38th Fajr Film Festival.
